South Downs and Dorset 1983-1985

This is a mixed bag of slides from hiking on the long distance trails with colleagues from Cirrus. The pictures show Colin Hersom, Andrew Guyler, Sunil Bowry, Mike Bending, Chris, even Dave Wharton occasionally. Chris had a financial type for a friend that joined us too (I forget his name). I would expect to see Dave Storey there too, but I did not notice him.

Maybe somebody knows where these are. WE did the South Downs Way in 1982 and the Dorset Coast in 1983-1986. We had one trip on the Devon Coast too.

I cannot identify the pictures. Most are in Devon I think.

I want to say that this is on the Downs hike, but probably not.

The next Group were labeled as Dorset 1985 1. I know that we did the Dorset Coast over two weekends. I repeated a section with Dave Wharton on another weekend because he had been in California when we did it the first time.

This is the second batch from Dorset 1985. Presumably it was the second weekend. I seem to remember that there was a storm towards the end and we had a 21 mile route march to Swanage at one point, via St Aldhelm’s Head.
