This started out as a very promising day. John and Keira, Heather and David were with us. It was a new Munro for Betsy and Keira. David had just missed the summit on a previous visit because he assumed that the trig point is the highest point – it’s not, so this was almost a repeat for him. Gordon’s first ascent had been in 1985.
The wind on the summit ridge turned this in to a hard, cold day. Made worse by the long walk out next to Loch Maree.
